@Gabriyl it should.... not much has changed since then :)
@Unknown 2007 @Gabriyl @dupessoa21 Two things to try:
#1 Change START_SPEED to a lower number like 40
#2a Copy every file (including the smartcars.data file) from the ZIP file
#2b Drive around the map for a few minutes to setup the AI (only have to do this once) .. once you drive around a little bit, enter any vehicle and then set a waypoint on the map in the pause menu and return to the game, wait 5 seconds without hitting any buttons, and watch the car drive on its own
@Gabriyl @Unknown 2007 can either of you make a video showing me the bugs that are happening? I'm not able to reproduce any of them.
@Unknown 2007 Try disabling all mods except for autonomous driving by Opening up the ScriptHookV console (f4 by default) and typing these two commands in order:
If it still does not work then I am sure your controller is the culprit or some ASI file is having an affect.
@Unknown 2007 It may be your controller that is causing the issue. If you have the deadzone setting set too low or the control has been slightly damaged from wear and tear, it can cause the MANUAL_OVERRIDE_STEERING option to kick in, try disabling it anyways just to be sure.
Also Native Trainer can cause vehicles to frequently brake in order to enforce the "Speed Limit" settings
@cion With ScriptHookVDotNet its fairly simple to place a character into any seat -- something like
@Unknown 2007 @Bet Nimrod The compatability mod has 3 new options available in the AutonomousDriving.INI file, specifically MANUAL_OVERRIDE_BRAKES, MANUAL_OVERRIDE_GAS, and MANUAL_OVERRIDE_STEERING
These will allow you to disable the three things that interfere with other mods and allow for this mod to work with any other mods. Pressing the Exit Vehicle button will always still cause the autonomous driving to stop.
v1.5.2 will automatically update your INI file with the new config options at the bottom after you have loaded the mod once in the game.
For anybody who still cant get it to work, set all MANUAL_OVERRIDE_XXX to false
@cion Yes, this mod fully supports riding in any seat as long as you are in a vehicle and the vehicle has somebody in the driver seat, setting a waypoint on the big map will cause the car to automatically drive there.(or at least try to)
@Gabriyl Are you using the latest ScriptHookVDotNet 3.3.x? Also check the file ScriptHookVDotNet.Log in your GTA V Root for anything with the word "Autonomous" in it.. if it shows up more than once or twice then please paste whatever comes up into the comments here so I can try to fix whatever bugs might be in it
