ok, yes, it teleports you with your vehicle. nice. but i'm also finding that it only works until i switch characters. once i've done that, one of two things will happen: 1. the screen goes black for a second or two and then spits me right back where I was or 2. the screen just goes black and stays that way until i exit the game.
@matchaicedtea that would be amazing. thank you.
@sereous313 excellent, thank you.
So I found out that on Windows 10, you have to use an elevated command prompt to create symlinks, or enable developer mode. I was able to use mklink in an UNelevated command prompt to manually create a symlink after enabling developer mode, and I'm even running GTAV Mod Manager as administrator, but it still won't create symlinks.
Symlink file mode isn't working for me, it's just copying the files instead. I have symlink file mode enabled in settings, my mods folder is on the same drive that the game is installed to, and it's formatted as NTFS. Can I please get some help with this? This is on Windows 10, btw.
@PsychoDad Thanks. But if you find the problem and fix it, can you please leave this version up too?
No, sorry. It just worked for me. Make sure you follow the instructions. It might not even be SHV but whatever mod you installed it for.
This only works when I first load the game. After a minute or so, it stops working and I get an "unhandled exception" error.
@Killian833 it just works. Install it per the instructions and profit.
Nevermind. The difference is that his works and yours doesn't. With your mod, all the loading screens still add to load time, but they are covered up by the legal messages. You can still hear the Rockstar splash screen audio playing behind it and load time isn't reduced.
