A simple script to make remove trains OR to make trains stop when somthing (vehicle/ped) is in front of them, might create more features later on
install
Drag EnhancedTrains.dll and EnhancedTrains.ini into scripts folder, create a scripts folder if you dont have one
install scripthookv & scripthookvdotnet into root folder (Game Directory folder)
to remove trains set DeleteTrains to true in EnhancedTrains.ini
to make trains stop at obstical, set TrainsStoponObstructed to true in EnhancedTrains.ini

If you go and park a car in front of a real train it won't stop, so i wouldn't call this an enhancement

@JustDancePC Well, they'll try to stop but trains carry a ton of weight and take a long time to stop.

@Rambosmother What are you suggesting? That I should set the stop setting to false? Might as well not install the mod at all, lol
@JustDancePC If a train driver sees you from a great(/any) distance it'll try to stop. Not because the driver wants to kill someone on purpose.

@JustDancePC Yes. Yes it will stop actually. By law trains are required to stop if the hit anything on the track as they could be damaged aswell as for any investigation.
@shan9020 Of course they are required to stop if they hit something. But as someone already said, trains take a long time to stop so the only way to not get hit by a train is getting out of the way, or if by any chance the train engineer sees the obstacle from far away enough to stop in time (which most of the time doesn't happen)
Can you make an Ini that let us adjust the braking pressure? As i want to have a realistic break and that when the train crashes into something, that it won't move any further. So just like in real life.

@JustDancePC I haven't checked the mod yet but I assume the trains like stop instantly when someone moves in front of them? Then yeah it would be better to make the train stop by slowing down first but of course, I have no idea how rockstar made trains in this game actually.
I saw from Kitsune Trains the moving parts of their wheels is actually coded in the gta's .exe file.............. Like yeah, it might be quite very difficult to configure them to stop by slowing down. They actually have this mechanic in game but I wonder is it a dynamic thing or they just slow down in a pre set scenario or whatever it's called.
Good thing though, finally those clickbait videos showing "can this many that thing stop train in gta 5" are even more clickbaits now :D

Awesome! Not sure if this fixes anything related to what I'm about to bring up, but I always felt it was kind of stupid that trains can't be derailed or destroyed, never stop at railyards, shipping and loading areas, factories or stations of any kind, and are basically immortal. And mind you, this is despite the fact there's a LITERAL mission involving the derailing/destruction of a train, yet the destruction is exclusive to a freaking cutscene, meaning it may as well have been a movie and never actually happened in game, especially given the lack of any debris following said mission.
I agree with @JustDancePC in that there should be a delay where the train slows down if you happen to be on the tracks while the train is in viewing distance. Of course, I'd like to add to that by suggesting that, if the train is within a certain distance threshold and you jump on the tracks, then the train would be unable to slow down and you would still be turned into a crimson human pancake.

Great mod, but when you're next to the train and not in front, it can still stop.
