@Laksh akre You'd have to go through and paste the original bike handling lines over my edited ones. The bike handling definitely did not come out like I'd hoped; there are some hard coded aspects that make it impossible to make it like IV. There's also not much info out there on how the bike physics work.
@Hellwire You can simply go to: update.rpf > x64 > data > carvariations.ymt, search for "policet", "police", "police 2" and "police3" and change the number 127 to 0 for each.
@Stryfaar I'm working on wrapping up the update, but I started a new job so I don't have a lot of time. I also lost the person who was helping with WOV compatibility.
DriveVice - Realistic Handling for Vice City TDE is out now!
@Sympathy It will work with the new one, just not with the values I provided for InversePower because they changed the formatting. You can just use the stock values if you like.
@Laksh akre Yeah that should work fine.
@xx_peanut_xx Sorry about the wait, I started a new job and I've been working on the Definitive Trilogy in most of my free time. It's mostly done but I still need to do the WOV patch.
@-EcLiPsE- The wheels clipping the ground could be related to my efforts to smooth out curb snapping. So that may end up being a choice between one or the other. However, the back end sliding out was deliberately added because you were unable to do so with the original handling. I'll go back and see if I think it's too excessive, though.
@BL4STER Are you asking if you can use it for your own personal use, or to release it as a handling mod?
This is actually a really well executed retro-futuristic design. Real car designers take note. Will be fun to play around with.
