Do you got tired about those damn AI peds (including the police) that can hit your feet at 100m., with the crappy 9mm pistols, when you're covered behind a car? Let's fix that big problem and let's make the AI less accurate, so they can't hit you so easily!
I like this modification because i love reallism and i hate the "bullet-eating" effect from the game (getting shotted 50 times on the chest, head and everywhere and don't die), so if you want to make it more reallistic, you can use a mod to reduce your health, or increase the weapons damage. For example, i'm actually using this one: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/realistic-health-hardcore (you die of 1~2 shots if you're unarmored).
What this mod exactly does
It reduces the AI accuracy, so they can't shoot as good as they natively did. The chances of getting hit on a shootout are less with this modification.
Why to use this mod? If you hate getting shotted every time (bullet-eating effect) and you want to make it more reallistic (can't get shotted so easily, but the bullets are lethal - or not, as you want), the this mod if for you.
Remember that this modify the file pedaccuracy.meta, so it modifies the general AI accuracy (from the original value of 2.0 to 0.3). Each type of ped has got their own acc. modifier, and some missions and mods can have different established values for their own peds. Remember too that with this mod, you'll still being able to get shotted, so it won't make you "invincible" or something like that. Indeed, you can still getting shotted to the head for example (i'd like to dive into this to avoid that).
How to install?
Use OpenIV to open common.rpf -> data -> ai and there, replace the existing pedaccuracy.meta with the one provided. On the ZIP i also uploaded the original one, if you want to recover the original one - but just in case, make a backup of your file.
How to uninstall?
Do the same process to install but using the pedaccuracy-original.meta file provided to replace the one contained on the RPF file (rename the original file provided removing the -original tag).
How to modify the accuracy value?
Just open the file with any text editor (like Notepad, Sublime Text, Notepad++...) and modify the next line:
Modify the value (0.3 as i modded, 2.0 by default); as big the value is, the better the AI accuracy will be.

Uploaded a mod like this one but on script, so it changes accuracy on ALL the peds:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/accuracy-fix
@EnforcerZhukov Maybe try to make it check for nearby peds and apply it to them too? There is a native for that IIRC.
@sodanakin hmmmm i don't know what do you mean with that, applying the accuracy values to nearby peds? To try to mod it on some script-spawned peds, for example? (like the Red House mod enemies, that have a very high accuracy and it's not modified with this .meta file)
@EnforcerZhukov Exactly. The native should be : PED::GET_PED_NEARBY_PEDS and has some more info at NativeDB. Not sure if it will work for the Script Spawned peds but you can always try :)
@sodanakin that's a good idea, i'll see if i can do something
@EnforcerZhukov thanks m8!
You Cant Hit Me Why I Get The Feeling That YOU CANT SEE ME
@EnforcerZhukov lol idk how i missed this mod (sorry) just found it today :) & yes the AI accuracy are way better then real life which is stupid idk what rockstar was thinking of
@mvp42699 thanks to the community for making the game able to be modded, if not i think i would stop playing it months ago, i hate bullet eater games :V
@EnforcerZhukov Yep,R* always making Good games and franchise such as GTA,Max Payne,RDR but they gotta make GTA 6 with bad bullet eater (No,Realistic bullet eater i mean) and some enhanced features from their previous games
@EnforcerZhukov I see you've been trying to make this game more realistic. I applause to you sir.
Can I have a suggestion? It's been bothering me from beginning that in gta5 peds die way too fast and easily. One example if you notice is that usually during car collisions, peds got knocked out while player's health didn't affected at all. One pistol shot to leg = die after 3 seconds no matter what. Injured peds die instantly if something TOUCH them. Sometimes I wonder if they design this mechanism on purpose to make game less gruesome :). I've tried modify damages.meta, pedhealth.meta but no luck so far. I hope you can give it a look, if you're interested of course. Anyway, thank you so much for the awesome mods
@sof119 glad to see more reallistic players :D
Some months ago i tried touching these files but with no luck too. The game is designed to work like that, it looks like is hard to avoid that. MAybe with scripts.
Did you see a script made by jedijosh920 called Crawl Injured or something like that? it makes hurt peds crawl on the floor, so they don't "instantly die" like by default.
@EnforcerZhukov Yeah I was gonna mention that to you bro, i'm using it. It's the only alternation that can keep peds from dying instantly but still not perfect you know. Maybe i'm a little obsessed with the peds dying realism :) The vanilla game is all like hollywood style flip over and dead really. Your Injured Ragdoll is awesome. Is it possible to apply it to all the peds? i mean peds you're not playing of course.
@EnforcerZhukov Oh, have you tried GTA Realism 0.8? It did something to keep peds eg. cops do a onground injury ragdoll for a very long time which i haven't seen from anywhere eles, but i can't figure out which file they modified. In pedhealth.meta I even modified Ped health to 1000 and Dying Threshold to 1, still the injury ragdoll time won't last longer than 5 seconds :(
This was one of my favorite mods to use. Thanks for the script version!
@EnforcerZhukov Does this also change accuracy for friendly peds? I.E bodyguards
@NaijaMango I'm not sure, but you might want to use the script-version which affects ALL NPC peds: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/accuracy-fix
Ai still accurate as hell
