I have always gotten frustrated whenever i try to do something else with the dpad up button on my controller (like opening the meenyoo mod menu) then my phone keeps popping up or when i scroll through the mod menu my phone also keeps popping up on pressing the dpad up button.
I made a fix for this
I switched the control for turning on headlight with the control for toggling phone up. Now you use the right button on your controller to toggle phone and the up button on your controller to turn headlights on and off.
Installation
Using OpenIV copy content of folder A into update,update.rpf,common,data,control
Copy content of folder B into common.rpf,data,control

If this is happening to you it's because of a mod you're using. In my case the mod was a trucking missions script mod. Deleted it and my phone never pops up when i'm in any menu.
Same here, i've installed trucking missions script mod and then this started to happen. unfortunatelly i really want to use trucking missions so i've kept the mod for a while
