Commissioned by: someone back in october 2021, can't remember who.
Special notes: currently has a normal idle rpm. please let me know if you'd prefer a high idle rpm.
Changelog:
1.0b - Readme.txt fix
Requirements:
-All vanilla dlcpacks up to mptuner (Los Santos Tuners) for SP.
-A FiveM server build that supports the Los Santos Tuners assets for FiveM.
Credits:
Monky, w/, RooST4R, dexyfex - REL Documentation
Legacy_DMC - GSTools, REV guidance
3P1C - REL XMLs
InfamousSabre - Help with sample improvements/fixes, Audacity guidance
TheAdmiester - NFS Heat sample extraction
Pole Position Production - 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 sound library
Recommended to use on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cummins_B_Series_engine#5.9L_ISB
== Description ==
This mod implements (without replacements!) a custom engine/exhaust audio from another game(s), which can be loaded onto any vehicle by using "cummins5924v" in the vehicles.meta audioNameHash entry for a given car.
Contains AWC files with an NPC/outside version along with custom DAT151 and DAT54 files used for audio configuration.
This mod uses samples that are ported from Need for Speed: Heat, thanks to a newly developed granular porting method.
Extra effort is also spent on non-engine-related parts of the audio, for an immersive experience.
AWC/REL code is open-source and unencrypted for those who want to edit it for personal use (such as volume adjustments) or to learn from it, however I do NOT tolerate reuploads without my explicit permission.
== Installation ==
Installation instructions and additional info are in the readme.txt.

Any plans to do any CAT diesel engines?
Very Nice. Thank you for this!
Readme instructions are for k20a installation. Not correct for this.
@Aquaphobic Hey great mod the sound is on point but I had one issue with it other player can't hear the engine from outside unless they get in and out of the vehicle any idea why?
how do I make this able to have sirens? when i use it on police vehicles it removes their siren and gives civ horn
@Dragust because siren and emergency features are controlled by the sound config files (REL files); This'll require some existing knowledge to edit yourself.
I generally don't do native police support because most of the use cases fall within FiveM servers, who have their emergency features scripted.
The only mods that I added native siren/emergency radio support for are the most popular cop car applications, i.e. the Ford Crown Victoria/Taurus/Explorer and Dodge Charger.
@Donbas fixed
I wonder if there is a possibility that it is a little smaller in size kb.. I just wanted to know, thanks, nice voice
@bacteri003 you're telling me 9MB is too big? The file is as small as can be whilst including both SP and FiveM versions so no one gets confused on where to get X version. Last time I tried that, that's exactly what was happening.
no i just wanted to know i tried the mod i couldn't do it i just wanted to ask if it could be a little smaller size thanks for the answer as i have an old computer
how do you uninstall it
@8ig800s bye bye
You can here the dyno spool at the higher RPM range from the sample audio.
@Aquaphobic nice sound, exactly what I was looking for, thanks very much for the mod. But I feel I should let you know that your OIV ruined my dlc list. It had a parsing error and I couldn't fix it. Luckily I had one in my backup folder. Just added the line myself and now it works just fine. You could also add manual installation. Again, thanks very much for the sound.
@Erle any OIV can be opened with the same thing you opened the archive with, and in there you can access the files manually, so there is no need for me to double-up the files in another "manual" folder.
@Aquaphobic oh yeah?! How to do that? Because I only see install option.
@Erle as i said, open it the same way you opened the .rar
@Aquaphobic thanks a lot, really appreciate it.
I replaced the AudioNameHash for the Phantom3 "Phantom Custom" and it won't work, is there anything I can do?
Can it make a turbo Blow Off sound?
