So,this is my first mod for Gta 5. I couldn't stand game's max 125mph speed, and there wasn't any full handling mod that was for me,so i started making my own.
Game is limited, just by making cars reach top speed of lets say 320kmh or 200mph,they accelerate way too fast,so game has its way how its made, and its limitations...if you try to slow revs, cars behave retarded,so no point in doing that also...
So i started by making cars reach their top speed, but they couldn't shift to top gear,or reach high revs, they shifted at 2000-3000 rpm. So i made them reach high revs, reach top speed they need to have, but they handled bad,so i made it a little better like i used to in simulation games.
Thing with traction is,if you go to high, cars flip,if its low, they drift alot,so you make balance by both, you can make it like, perfect with almost no drifting, but it feels so unnatural...
I have my car,i drove and was driven in many sports cars,i played many simulation, and you cant play simulations with keyboard, so this is by far, best experiance for me,for the monster cars they put in this game. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
how to install :
You need to install OpenIV to edit GTA V --> IV https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv
Open OpenIV,open GTA V directory, click to enter edit mode (it is in top right corner)
go to "update - update.rpf - common - data", and replace "handling.meta" with handling file you got in same folder in my zip.
OpenIV ,edit gta V,and enter in folder "update - x64-dlcpacks",and replace each handling in "mpchristmas2" and "mpheist" with the handlings i made.
OpenIV,edit GTA V,then on bottom of directory you will find x64w.rpf,so you open "x64w.rpf - dlcpacks",and replace each folder's handling with my own, there are 9 folders in it. "mpbeach,mpbusiness,mpbusiness2,mphipster,mpindependence,mplts,mppilot,mpvalentines,spupgrade."

How much time have you spent on this?
So...in short, what have you supposedly manage to accomplish? Can we have a video comparison or something please? Not really sure what it is you clame to have accomplished but it sounds great if you managed to make cars go faster, whilst still handling/behaving properly!
All Cars (156 : Compacts(6), Coupes (11), Sedans (20), Sports (27), Sport Classics (12), Super (9), Muscle (21), Off-Road (19), SUV (16), Vans (15)) and all bikes (20) mentioned here : http://gta.wikia.com/Vehicles_in_GTA_V? Do you mean also all DLC/"Returning Player" Bonus and online vehicles? I don't know what you understand under "cars" but I'd guess : Compacts, Coupes, Sedans, Sports, Sport Classics, Super, Muscle, Off-Road, SUV and Vans but not Industrials, Commercials, Utility, Military, Emergency and Service vehicles. With bikes I think you mean motorbikes only, not bicycles (often also called bikes). Am I right?
And how realistic are the top speeds and acceleration figures : does the Truffade Adder (based on the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4) goes 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and a 253 mph (407 km/h)?
Congratulations on your first mod, but could you please upload a video comparison and a least one screenshot?
okay, its a fun mod but very unrealistic
@Milunka: I'm removing your screenshots because they're from GTA IV
I would also like a changelog, please.
No videos = no download.
This is the type of mod that would need a video demonstration. I don't understand why people just download these things especially since keyloggers were found on several mods in the past.
Does this add traction to certain cars? I would like to see a mod that allows the muscle cars to stick to the road and go fast instead of sliding all about the place like an ice sled.
