@ikt Interesting. Thank you for the info. I'll assume that what I did may have been a coincidence, but regardless I'm still quite happy that it works haha. Otherwise I've not had any problems with the mod thus far.
For those having trouble with their wheels not being detected (specifically G27), here's a solution that I found. If this doesn't work for you then I apologise in advance, but it worked brilliantly for me.
Firstly, remove the latest version of this mod from your game.
Then,
Download an older version of this mod. I used v.4.6.4, earlier versions may work but that's up to you.
Install the mod as you would normally. Open the game, and see if the mod now detects your wheel. If it does, configure steering and pedals as you normally would.
Once set up to your liking, close the game.
Take the "Gears.asi" file from the latest version of this mod (v.6.5), and place that in your GTA V directory, overwriting the older file. Do not touch any other of the files relating to the mod.
Open the game once again, and see if the mod detects your wheel. If so, congrats. Keep in mind you won't need to configure the wheel and pedals again because you've already done that. Of course, you can still make adjustments if need be to suit your preference.
Fin.
The idea being that this workaround allows you to configure the wheel and save those settings with an earlier version of the mod, so you can then install the latest version and have the mod detect your wheel correctly.
If this doesn't work for anyone else, I'll happily admit that maybe I got lucky with it. But, if it does work for you please let me know.
I've used this mod for a very long time and I've always been thoroughly impressed with it. Hats off to you @ikt.
I spent a long time wanting to try this mod but I thought that it'd be too complicated to set up but I bit the bullet just a few days ago and I haven't stopped using it ever since! Really impressed with the menu layout and the overall quality of the mod. Driving with this mod, a G27 and Realistic Driving V just feels so right. Awesome work!

@ikt Absolutely dude! I appreciate the effort you put into the menu as it made setting up things like the H Pattern shifter a breeze.
