Changelog
0.3.3
* Add in-game deletion for configs
* Fix pre-cambered vehicles having inverted camber on rear wheels
0.3.2 / 0.3.1
Note: 0.3.2 is a critical bug fix for 0.3.1
* Change suspension patch to (optionally) conditionally apply, prevents breaking certain vehicles
* Set default patch mode to player-only detection (only unpatch when player drives unsupported vehicle)
* Improve incompatible vehicle detection
* Fix license plate-based saves not working
* Change license plate format to [ PLATE ] to support whitespace plates
* (0.3.2) Fix crash on startup caused by mistake in "Improve incompatible vehicle detection"
0.3.0
Some background info:
Version 0.3.0 is more or less a complete rewrite. The script is functionally
the same as previous versions, no breakthroughs have been achieved
since version 0.2.5. Just big internal codebase improvements which have been
bothering me for a while.
* Changed the save format: `car_saved.xml` and `car_preset.xml` are not supported
in 0.3. Instead, the Config folder contains settings per vehicle.
Your old configurations _will_ have to be made again.
* Added modification-based adjustments: tuning parts can be specified to
change suspension geometry, for example: Increase track width on body kits.
This stacks with the base/existing configuration.
Values for modifications have to be modified in the vehicles' .ini file.
Re-opening the menu reloads files, to load changes.
* Added support for NPC vehicles: The script always updates all vehicles
in the game world in 0.3.
v0.2.5
* Fix rim radius not saved
* Automatically disable things vehicles that break (lowriders and flying stuff)
0.2.4
* Fix menu opening causing character selection and recording issues
0.2.3
* Update code for b1604. It's crappy but it seems to work.
* Add a toggle for height tuning. Disable this if you're doing cars with transforming wheels or hydraulics and aren't touching height anyway. (Other stuff->Height tuning)
0.2.2
* Fix offsets for b1290
0.2.1
* Fix auto-apply for wheel size
* Add a warning to the menu for old game versions
0.2.0
Config changes: Add option to open menu with the cheat "vstancer". Can be changed in settings_menu.ini
Saved presets now include wheel size parameters.
* Add wheel size options

@ikt is there a way to make this work with custom cars ? i read above is not compatible with hydraulics but i dont use them, so maybe is a way to make it work with lowriders, the slim wheels really look pathetic
track width or tyre width don't show up on rockstar editor.Please fix it T_T
With vstancer whenever I leave the game and join back my cars are all back to normal. The configuration does not safe
@RelicFTW i feel like you feel very comfortable talking how you do behind a keyboard in the comfort of your own home. thats the only place youre allowed to be a man.
currently needs updating in version 3258 of the game. otherwise, very great mod.
After the update, it is causing a crash if used together with the RDE Mod
Thank you for this mod! Unfortunately in the new version front and rear height adjustment individually doesn't work.
needs to be updated, every wheel is huge now with the new update
@MuAlH same for me
needs a update
Just a warning this mod conflicts with VehFuncs on v3028 but it worked great on v2845 i really kick my a** for messing up my game to where i had to reinstall it
@Katecreme reinstall? just delete your mods folder
love this mod, but i gotta choose between this and ssg vanilla wheels pack because this mod makes certain wheels in that pack small and misaligned by default
hey @ikt, or anyone really. Any ideas about what do with addon wheels(and i guess some regular wheels judging by the comments) being too big or too small? To clarify, the wheels are all good without this mod, but with this mod some wheels drastically change size while others are unaffected, and changing the wheel size using this mod affects the previously unaffected wheels in the opposite way(change small wheel size to make them normal, all wheels that were already normal will be big), and this all happens in the wheel preview before even selecting the wheels, and persist into selection. any help will be appreciated as this mod is a loved must-have.
@ModEmPuncher
Do you have any existing configuration for that car? Try removing the whole configuration for that car and seeing if the issue still occurs - if so, I may need to take a look myself...
Otherwise, the following applies:
VStancer saves the category and index, but if the wheels are added to a category, wheel number 6 from the Tuning category may be something different than what it is in the vanilla game.
It doesn't really know much more to remember what wheel model the settings belong to, so adding/removing addon wheel sets kind of breaks stuff.
If they have a proper name in trainers I may be able to match up their name maybe.
@ikt im thinking you were right, configs are gone and there are no problems... so just to make sure, dont save any configs with these wheels right?
@ModEmPuncher
You can save, but just be aware that adding and remove mods will mess things up.
@ikt i get it, thanks man, stancing out everything now lol
how to get vstancer to work with my ls life mod game keep crashing
I was messing around with the mod and I though, it would be great to be able to change the wheel size individually! like a category for front size and width and one for rear wheels. like imagine the possibilities!!!
