@Zerovv, it took hours of troubleshooting to figure this out but I found a conflict between your mod and the Map Editor mod (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/map-editor). Thought I'd give you a heads up about it. Will do the same for the other author.
Symptoms: GTAV crashes during loading of a saved game if I have I have an autoloaded map (even one with 200 props). Without autoload, I can start the game, get into MapEditor, load a map and use and edit it normally without a problem. But if I don't unload it using the New Map feature before loading a saved game, GTAV will crash the next time I load a saved game. Disabling skinpersistence.dll script ends these problems.
I have the latest scripthook, scripthooknet, visual c++ resitributables (like all of them). Log files mention no error whatsover and the scripthook log file always ends with:
[22:55:00] [DEBUG] Instantiating script 'SkinPersistence.SkinPersistence' in script domain 'ScriptDomain_FF9029B9' ...
[22:55:00] [DEBUG] Started script 'SkinPersistence.SkinPersistence'.
I have put up my scripthookVnet log here: http://pastebin.com/dik0gqET
and a list my GTA directory's content (as well as those of my script/lua addins) here:

Can you make an updated version that allows you to save GTAO Characters outfits for directors mode? Or does this mod work for your online characters too? I'm using "Skin Control" to change my outfits and now I need something that I can use to save them because for some reason skin control doesn't allow you to save tattoos on you online character.
@thebunnyrules This is probably caused by SkinPersistence, this script is pretty outdated and I can't update it because the source code was on a laptop which is now broken. ( I should have made backups )
Fits my SP needs perfectly.
@Zerovv You did it, an absolute necessity! It works fine and I like it, thank you! Keep it up!
Awesome mod, thanks for making it! :D
Thank you so much for this! I don't have to get to a safehouse every time a character switches clothes anymore.
@Zerovv The name of this mods is a bit confusing - Skin Persistence / Save Outfit.
I thought it will also save your characters skin - but this is just an outfit saver/loader.
Love it! Just curious though - where does it save the outfit to? I'm asking as I play on both my laptop and my desktop.
Thanks for the mod. Any chance you'll be updating this thing? Maybe add a feature to override game's automated outfit swap when starting some missions, letting you keep your current clothes on. Ah, in my dreams.
Thanks again!
@Zerovv After the last update your mod doesn't work anymore :(
@Zerovv Works great, my fault. Thx!!!
@Zerovv hey man, I have 2 questions, will this mess up when the character changes outfits for story related things? (eg paleto score), and will this stop the characters from changing outfit completely or do I have to press something.
@Zerovv I really love this mod! I was looking for a mod like this for a long time. I always hated going to simple trainer everytime to fetch my saved outfits and look for the same clothes I had previously on everytime I go back in the game. This mod makes it much more simpler however I have a small request. Would it be possible to add a feature to this mod that will automatically spawn the last skin (clothes) back on the player at game start up without having to press any keys? That would be really awesome if you could make it possible to spawn the last saved skin back on the charactor automatically, that way I won't have to press any keys. What do you think? Is that a feasible feature to do?
Please put it so that it is automatic.
@acpiek i thought the same and hoped it will be made in any mod
Any suggestion of mod that save the exact skin with the outfit too?
@mari00 https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/skin-control
Or a trainer should be able to, like https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/enhanced-native-trainer-zemanez-and-others
We needed a mod like that
Does this work for MP character models?
@mari00 @acpiek
hey! sorry, but do you know how to permanently save character's changed skin? I just want it to load automatically when you load the single player
