GTA V was dry on random events, there were so little and they couldn't be redone once completed. This mod aims to add more random events and encounters that can be done anywhere, anytime in Single Player.
Installation
Place MoreRandomEvents.dll and MoreRandomEvents.ini into your "scripts" folder. You will need the latest Script Hook V and .NET Script Hook.
Controls
J - Toggle More Random Events
K - Manually Trigger/Create Random Event (Needs "CanTriggerManually" to be set to true in .ini file)
The controls can be edited via the .ini file.
Settings
The mod uses a random timer and random chance to make the events/encounters very random, by default every 5-10 minutes, an event could/should happen. After the timer is over, it uses the 1/5 chance and if it gets it, it does the event, if not, it restarts the timer. Exactly the same as the Random Attackings mod that I made.
randTimerMin - In milliseconds that defines the minimum value for the random timer, by default it's 5 minutes.
randTimerMax - In milliseconds that defines the maximum value for the random timer, by default it's 15 minutes.
randChanceMin - Minimum value for the random chance of the event to happen if the timer is up.
randChanceMax - Maximum value for the random chance of the event to happen if the timer is up.
CanTriggerManually - True/False for if the user can trigger random event manually instead of waiting. If true, "Trigger" key can be used to create a random event.
Random Events
Hobo Donation - A hobo holding a sign will ask for a $1 donation, you can give him a dollar and he will play an instrument or you can spit on him and he will pull out a shank.
Cop Footchase - Two cops will be chasing a criminal on foot, you can help the cops by shooting the criminal down or injuring him/her or you can help the criminal by shooting the two cops and he will back you up as you will get a three star wanted level.
Pedestrian Fight - Just two guys who wanted to settle their differences with guns/fists. You can help one of them and they will be greatful or just kill them or whatever.
Hitchhiker - A man will be waving his hand asking for a ride, it's up to you to believe if he is lying or not.

Does this manually trigger events already in the game? Such as the Pink peyote random event, if you press the button it will manually trigger it?

An oldie but goodie. I run this simultaneously with Random Attacks; gets crazy! Be sure to change the activating command letter for one in the ini.

Last update was 2015 way even bother releasing it.
Man why do u not make amod that enables random events(game orginal)or side missions in the game to spawn it and repeat them easily and not to wait .thats amazing

It work, but the only useful is the fighting people. The hitchikers are just annoying and so is the hobo playing for cash. Can someone edit this so we can choose what random events to use or even better make a version with cops spawning, random gun battles (not just fistfights. More fun this way.
@azidtrip That hobo? So far I only encountered him twice, but if you just ignore him, nothing happens, but if you donate $1 to him, he will play his guitar for a few minutes.
The hitchikers? I'm only encountered one yet (somewhere in Mirror Lake Park): he wanted me to bring him to a location in my car, but as soon as I accepted it, he grabbed me out from my own car and tried to drive away as fast as possible, luckily he somehow abandoned the car after about 300 meters, so I was able to get my car back without any scratches. Basically, be careful with hitchikers.
Okay so turns out JediJosh has left GTA modding in 2019, and probably the gaming communities in general (or at least isn't active on them; I checked all of his links).
BUT!!!
I am willing to voluntarily FIX AND FORK any of JediJosh's mods and re-upload them here (with due credit of course). I'm also willing to make small, QOL changes to existing mods or to restore/enhance/add a bit of functionality to them.
I have programming experience in Java, C++, Python and a bit of SQL, but absolutely no exp in GTA V modding, so I'll need a hand or at least someone to show me what causes the crashes/bugs.
If you're a MOD DEV with at least a basic understanding of GTA V modding, and you'd like to join me and fix these wonderful mods together, hit me up on Discord (Rome101#8527) or here on DM.
