This mod allows players to activate cinematic camera mode while on foot. Just hit same button or key that you use for cinematic mode in a vehicle to use it while on foot.
You can use the ini file to set a custom keycode if you don't want to use the default Cinematic Camera key. Just leave it blank if you want to use the default though.
SINGLE PLAYER INSTALLATION AND USE:
1. Install ScripthookV by copying the files from here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v (copy the dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll files) into the root GTAV folder
2. Install Scripthookdotnetv3 by copying all the files from here: https://github.com/scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet/releases into the root GTAV folder
3. Create a folder called "scripts" in the GTAV folder if you haven't already
4. Copy CinematicCamera.dll into the scripts folder.
NO FIVEM INSTALL JUST YET, HOPEFULLY I'LL ADD THAT SOON

Brother, why did my turn on camera button become "Backspace" and "ESC"？ the default configuration for my buttons.
@thalilmythos The angles are scripted manually. I'm not sure about adding in manual aiming, though the script actually does some auto aiming itself so you can shoot while using this cinematic camera mode.

@ZenMaster It's not a bad idea long as you're recording. Overall though it's a PIA as you get thrown in and out of cinematic when trying to fight (especially on controller) and fuggeddabout trying to build maps. If you have other scripts that use certain letters like 'addonpeds' that use 'L' for example that activate even when using a trainer, when you take steps to disable the other mod yours throws you into 'cinny' and cancels whatever you were actually doing. Not a bad mod, but it doesn't 'play well' with others and there's no 'ini' to set different key (controller) binds.

As of January 28, 2025, this no longer seems to work. Any thoughts?
It worked for me just now with the default B button setting but I can't figure out how to set a keycode for a keyboard button. "90" should be the z key but it does nothing unless I leave the keycode field blank in CinematicCamera.ini

It turns out that the keycode is just plain text and you don't need to put in a keycode. So you can just put z in the .ini file and it works right away. I used JoytoKey to configure the guide button on my Xbox controller to trigger several different extra trainer functions or in-game menus depending on how many times it is pressed
I'm using this along with my own custom ultra slow-motion script and it's pretty fun. I was trying to figure out how to correctly modify cinematic camera properties via the API not long ago, in order to make a simple "lock cinematic camera" script that would prevent the vehicle cinematic camera from automatically cycling between views.
