Built from the ground up, this version brings the next-gen experience on PC to the next level! No stone was left unturned, including scratch-built popgroups, popcycles, hundreds of unique car generators, and vehiclemodelsets. Enjoy realism, hidden vehicles, easter eggs and so much more that brings the 11-year-old map of GTA V back to life!
This is the Lite Edition of the mod, meaning it only contains vanilla content. The Ultimate Edition, which includes vanilla and modded content, can be found here! (Currently outdated, update coming soon!)
Below are the current Add-Ons for the mod:
Chameleon Paint Patch: Add a splash of color to your game! This Add-On will integrate the Chameleon Paint mod into vehiclemodelsets to allow special variants of vehicles to spawn. You must install the colors separately. They are not included in this mod!
Updated DLC Vehicle Spawn Colors: Lessen the assault on the visual senses! This Add-On replaces DLC vehicle spawn colors with all of my previously posted packs, for better integration and less gaudy color combinations!
Prerequisites:
Simple Trainer
Chameleon Paint (For the Chameleon Paint Patch)
HeapAdjuster
Packfile Limit Adjuster
A decent Gameconfig
Installation and important information is included within the ReadMe, so please take care when you're reading it!
FAQ:
1q. The cars are disappearing!
1a. Install Simple Trainer and or Menyoo to prevent DLC vehicles from despawning.
2q. A bunch of the same cars are spawning!
2a. This is known as the 'GTA Effect' where a specific vehicle is chosen by the game and prioritized. This has nothing to do with the mod and is something that is hardcoded into the game.
3q. Cops Back on The Beat? RDE compatibility?
3a. No.
4q. Chameleon Paint Patch doesn't work!
4a. Good luck and maybe read the description next time!
5q. There is no variety or density!
5a. You can get extra variety by editing your settings.xml file in Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V. Bump up the VehicleVarietyMultiplier to 10.0. Do not increase the CityDensity value, as it can cause crashes if it is too high. Instead, I highly recommend using L.S Traffic by Cass.
Please report any bugs to me in the comments about the mod or the .oiv packages. I am new to making .oiv packages, so there is room for error. Now that I have some more time at my own pace to work on the mod, I will be releasing occasional bug patches!
I will not be helping with subjects such as carvariations, computer performance, anything clearly stated in the FAQ or any of the ReadMe files, or other non-mod related topics.
Please do not modify or reupload these files!

Possible you made this change on purpose but I doubt it. Check your popgroups.ymt. The VEH_BIKES is missing. The individual bike models are listed as normal but the headers and footers for VEH_BIKES and VEH_BIKES_MP are completely missing.

I like this modification a lot but is not compatible to lspdfr, something i believe from the vehiclemodelset.meta is causing that when you get in a police station expect Mission Row, the game crash.

The probability of seeing the same car on the road is almost 100%, which is a huge failure!!

@Skysder just a quick question for clarification. Does this mod add all of the DLC vehicles up to Bottom Dollar Bounties as candidates for a spawn in traffic, or spawn in a parking spot, or a spawn in one of the scenarios? I am trying to decide if "All MP Vehicles in SP" by Andre500 would be a good companion mod to this mod or if it would just be redundant. Since I started playtesting this mod a few months ago my assumption was that all DLC vehicles (up to BDB) were included but after re-reading the description and comments and readme files I am not sure. Thanks!!

@txm550i Yes, this mod does include most DLC vehicles. Whether they are in traffic, cargens, scenarios, etc. I've attempted to fit most DLC items into a spot where they fit, but it doesn't cover every single one. Rest assured that any DLC vehicles that can be used as traffic are in traffic. Most of the military stuff is used on Zancudo, and so on and so forth. I even found a use for the Oppressor Mk.II. I think the main difference is that the aforementioned mod uses scripting and mine does not. It really boils down to personal preference. I'll be polishing and working on this continually as well, but I won't be offended if you make another choice!

@Skysder Great! Thanks! Happy to hear that. I have been in love with this mod ever since I found it and I will be sticking with it. I REALLY appreciate the effort you're making. It makes a huge difference with the traffic and the kinds of cars that can be found. If I can ever help with any beta testing let me know. One thing that would be REALLY cool is to add the function to inject add-on cars. For the moment I am adding my own add-on cars as DLC Car Packs and then I am modifying your popgroups file so they can spawn amnbiently. So far in my playtesting that works really well.

i cant seem to find them in world and when i check popgroups they are not included...what should i do to add them please?

Works perfectly on v3411, great work! (Cars are despawning but that's only because Scripthook is currently not updated for 3411 and I can't install a Trainer. Actually works as a great test to prove this mod works, however!)

@Skysder Sorry to bother but how do i make it work with IVPack? I installed IVPack first, then DriveV and DriveIV and then i installed this traffic experience. but I didn´t find any IVPack vehicle in traffic. Also didn´t see them in your popgroups file. What have I done wrong. Thank you for help.

It appears the hotfix from 12/15/24 is now causing this mod to crash my game. Straight to desktop with no error messages. Having HeapAdjuster, PackfileLimitAdjuster, and a gameconfig made for v3411 did not fix this issue, but uninstalling this mod through the .oiv file did resolve the crashes.
Also still waiting on an update from Scripthook for v3411 to be able to use Simple Trainer, so not sure if that's all related somehow

Update 5.2.2:
- Fixed a typo in popgroups.ymt that prevented motorcycles from spawning. Thanks to @txm550i for pointing this out!
- There is also a FiveM version available at the GitHub link in the description, courtesy of @L'kid
