HDS Simulation Reshade Preset for NVE release 1.0

4.980

Hello Fellow GTA Enthusiasts!

Appreciate you clickin' on my reshade preset here. Previously I released this file with a lot of dull and high contrast photos to show how realistic it looks in that particular lighting, however since everyone is wondering how it can look in ALL scenarios I decided to update all of the photos to showcase a lot more variance in color and weather. I hope this clarifies your concerns a little bit.

REQUIREMENTS TO EXACTLY REPLICATE PHOTOS (Not necassary)

Natural Vision Evolved with medium enb preset installed ($10) https://www.patreon.com/razedmods]

5Real All Updates and LA Revo Basement Pack ($37) https://www.patreon.com/AdnrStudio/posts?filters[tag]=5Real%20Download

*I have only tested this preset with these mods here, so I don't know how it would look without NVE, my suggestion is to simply spend the $10 on NVE and hold off on the 5Real stuff until you wanna go for the full experience*

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

I'm going to assume you guys are already familiar with installing mods and reshades but mine is slightly different as the reshade is simply used to apply a modified LUT (Look Up Table) that I created using a color correction software.

When you download and extract my file you will be greeted with two files, one is the .ini file and the other is a .png

STEP 1... Download and Extract my file
STEP 2... Download 'reshade.me' here https://reshade.me/
STEP 3... Click the setup file for 'reshade.me' and click on the big rectangle to select your game and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V, yours might be different, but then select 'GTAV.exe' and select DX 10/11 and then make sure you check off all the effects
STEP 4... Exit out of reshade and open up your games base directory here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V, yours might be different
STEP 5... Open my file and drag the .ini file into that main GTA directory
STEP 6... Now drag that lut.png file from my folder and place it here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\reshade-shaders\Textures and then click yes on replacing the file that already exists
STEP 7... Close all of that and load up GTAV into Story Mode
STEP 8... Once in the game press 'HOME' on your keyboard to load up the reshade.me menu and go ahead and skip the tutorial or do it, doesn't matter
STEP 9... Click that drop down menu that's towards the top and scroll through what's there until you find my 'HDS Simulation.ini' file and the either double click it or press select
STEP 10... If you want it to look like my game you gotta set your game brightness down to 2 clicks up from the lowest you can go

You will NOT see a change in your game if you do not put my lut.png file in the textures folder and replace the one that is there!

That's basically it for the install, if you are confused why it doesn't look like my screenshots then just make sure you have NVE installed as well as all the 5Real stuff I linked. But I'm sure the game will still look good with the default game and definitely fine with only having NVE.

If you have any questions I'm a nice guy I'll help ya figure it out!

I hope you guys enjoy it like I do, it took a lot of time and I spent some good money on the color software to transfer the colors from a real LA reference photo into a game screenshot I took and used to modify the lut. Wasn't just done in game messing around with the reshade effects like most are.

This will actually not impact your performance how I give you the file because there are no effects enabled other than the one to apply the lut so if you want a clean preset that won't impact your fps at all this is the one for you. You can certainly add effects to this though if you wanted to on your own, personally I don't like them much.

I hope I made everything super clear for you guys this time, enjoy!
