Hides the reticle and reticle kill marker completely and is toggleable ingame. Unlike all the other no reticle mods out there, this one to my knowledge is actually working and WORKS WITH SNIPER RIFLES, you can have no reticle whilst still having the sniper scope! With this mod, you can toggle the reticle ingame with gta 5 settings! Installation instructions provided in the readme, everything should be simple and straightforward. Thanks for downloading my first mod!

Could you change the DLC weapons too? Works great on all the vanilla weapons.
@gotaa Unfortunately, no. I do not have the any of the dlcs so I can't make the adjustment myself and upload it. I now see that in a post above I stated that it works for "dlc and all", which was a mishap on my part. It WILL work for dlc and all but I do not have the dlc myself. Unless I can obtain someone else's file you're going to have to make the change yourself. You're going to have to edit your weapons.meta and change the reticlestylehash line of every dlc weapon you have to WEAPON_INVALID.
This would overwrite any other mods which also modified the weapons.meta file, correct? I would love to use this but only if it could work along with my previously installed weapon mods
@awardf47 Yes, it would. My suggestion to you would be to isolate the weapon mod's block of code and insert it into my reticle mod's weapons.meta and then make the change to the reticlestylehash line of the added weapon to WEAPON_INVALID yourself.
@MrGame4ndWatch should put the code to take the reticle off in a txt file so people can put it in themselves instead of including the .meta and i dont understand why no one has done this yet i've wanted this for a while now great job tho!
@420x420 I would if it were that easy, the edit is to change the reticlestylehashline of every weapon to WEAPON_INVALID. I've stated this in comments above if they want to do it themselves then they can but I can't think of any other easier and more user friendly way than this. It may not work for all weapons for some people because they have dlc, mods, etc. but it's the best I got.
@MrGame4ndWatch Ah alright i thought it was as simple as changing a line of code but you have retail version of gta with all new dlc right?
@420x420 Apparently not. To be honest, I haven't really played Gta 5 ever since last year and I bought it on the december steam sale. I had this discussion happen on lspdfr.com with people thinking I might have pirated the game but I can assure you I have it bought legally but I have no idea why my game does not have the dlc. I haven't updated it since I bought it because i like my mod compatibility, maybe that's the reason why. I apologize for the inconvenience with the dlcs. It really is changing a line of code however, just a lot of lines of code to change and possible bugs if you change the wrong thing.
Do you have to change it on every single weapon for it to work cos I changed it only on d Pistol and the reticle is still there?
does this allow for aircraft to have crosshair still?
this doesn't work any more :(
is there any other way to remove the kill indicator?
I can confirm that this no longer works
update it with DLC weapons please.
@MrGame4ndWatch Please Update!
you say there is a read me .... there is no read me ... do you put it in the scripts folder?
this mod is pretty good, but I have seen a mistake, the pistol "Heavy Pistol" shows the normal Complex crosshair.
@MrGame4ndWatch This is awesome! I have been looking for something like this that is not a script. Much appreciated! :)
@MrGame4ndWatch Mod uploaded 6 years ago and I can confirm that it works perfectly. Thank you for your work on this. BTW to the person that posted that there is no readme, perhaps you need glasses as there is a readme provided by the author. Thanks again for the upload!
Excellent job bro
Works. not all of the time, but mostly works
