Are you working on the chrome 1911? If not I'm porting the model and I wanted to ask how you get the chrome effect.

@largeaj2020 Yes, nearly finished. For the chrome, you need to set the tint to 7 in weaponcomponents.meta, use the "normal" shader in the materials of Zmod and have a good and clean bumpmap.

I tried both, not to impressed with the look of them to be honest. Nicely detailed, but way too much gloss. They looked like they had been dipped in oil. You did the same with your Glock too (which was brilliantly made in everything else).

@MercScar I don't understand why, the default pistol was practically a BerretaM9 in everything but name !

But there is no text with <TintIndexOverride value="2"/>
