Realistic Handling Mod for GTAV by NeuroDNB v.0.2 //

Description :
This is a Realistic Handling Mod for GTA V. It works best in Ego Perspective (obviously because of the Increased Sense of Speed) and with
a Gamepad (Xbox 360 Controller , Xbox One Controller). Each of the Cars has its own Unique Realistic Handling.
For instance Big Trucks now behave like Trucks rather than Delivery Vans and Average Cars like ASEA (Daewoo Lacetti) handle like their Real Life
Counterpart! Note this is an early Version so there can still be some bugs!
Install Instructions :
1. Install OpenIV 2.6 and Open IV.asi (Read the Instructions of OpenIV)
2. Navigate to GTAV/update.rpf/common/data and input in the search Box : handling
3. Replace handling.meta with the handling.meta from the Mod Folder
4. Have Fun!
Dont Forget to always Backup the Files you Replace / Edit!

@shivachaaa you dont necessarily have to rebuild the archive for a replaced .meta file as far as i know (atleast i didnt do that and it works fine) Which Version do you have? I Have Version 1.352.2 Oh and have you Backupped your Handling.meta before installing the Mod? If u need a vanilla one i can upload it @tall70 is right thats what i meant to say but my english isnt that good im from germany :)
Uploaded the Update v.0.2 lots of things fixed!
@NeuroDNB Does this changes every single vehicles handling in the game ?
@Nazhul : As of now it is only 18 Vehicles that i have adjusted but i am going to adjust every Vehicle / Plane's Handling in the Upcoming Versions of this Mod :)

@shivachaaa Don't know man, i have same problem. I can edit xml or meta with whatever notepad, notepad++, xml notepad then i can see changes in OpenIV but it never works. To test i just gave high mass to Airtug, i can see it in OpenIV, but airtug in game stays vanila. I tried somebody's else bigger wave mod, that works fine. Nothing in any xml i changed ever did any change in game no matter with what i edit it in, but other guy's big wave mod works.
Please clarify, all of the cars and sedans are much much slower?
Perhaps you should also adjust the handling to make these cars easier to damage. Or did you already do that?
lol yes in UPDATE folder, not directly common.rpf...That was my mistake
Also for anybody to wonder...You can associate all .dat, .xml, .meta to open with OS notepad so you can just double click them and save when you done. No other programs needed.
Very nice mod here. please, if possible, make flipping and spinning while in air, a bit faster. and remove the 'magnet' that tries to force motorcycles and bicycles (while airbourne) to face forward. and remove planes air turbulence. god, i want to learn how to edit this stuff :)
makes 9f Super Fun to drive but i think that you nerfed the other sedans way too much

2. When do you plan to release mod with all cars?
3. Do you plan to make more realistic suspension?

@Meerk4t : Thanks mate! Im not actually sure if its going to work Online i havent tried that yet (because of fear of getting banned since its not bypassable) , but from what i noticed is that it doesnt disturb Singleplayer Campaign because the Mission Cars have their own Custom Trigger for Speed & Handling
I plan on releasing the Full Mod in about 2 to max. 4 Weeks depends on how much time i have :)
And yes im already working on making the Suspension more Realistic it'll probably involve modding the vehicles.meta too since Rockstar conveniently put the Cars Suspensions in separate Handling Classes (they called it Swankness it goes on a scale from 1 to 5 where 1 would be a Crap Suspension) in Version 0.2 i've already begun working on that with Baller1 (Range Rover) which has a NineF Suspension for Testing
@whitehot1 Thank you ! :) Im working on that , since its annoying me too especially with the regular Blazer Quadbike , i want to try to get it "Backflippable" I just have to work out how to Hybridize/Merge the PCJ Handling with the Quadbike Handling and how to Set Turbulence for each plane (f.i Double Decker should have more Turbulence than a Jet Plane etc.)

duhh just realized that i havent uploaded the vehicles.meta yet which means my sentence with the Baller1 doesnt make any sense as of now :D but it works great except for the car itself tipping over sometimes (which means i have to set the car mass centre a bit downwards)
