@raburs The annoying thing is that peds will immediately collapse to the ground when hit by a car no matter what speed. Unlike when they're bumped, peds don't go into stumble mode when colliding with a car, so editing the stumble properties is useless. Maybe I'll figure out a way around this, if I have the time.

@koth4356 I am currently working on a stumbling mod as well, stay tuned.

@tall70 Yeah that is expected. The game automatically forces you to lock on to a ped once you engage with them in any way, disabling the pushing ability. There might be a way to prevent this via scripting, like how the Simple Foot Controls mod disables automatic running when wanted.

@XYZ_Gaming Ahh I see, I suppose that would make your game more unstable.Your only solution is probably to redownload everything and then try it.

@Sh3nZeR Correct, either left mouse or R key will push. You'll only push if you're not locked on to a person, though.

@XYZ_Gaming Damn, I'm not sure what else could be causing the crash. All I did was edit the file directly in Notepad++, dropped it in openiv, and it worked. Maybe verify integrity cache on your game? I can't imagine how two identical games produce different results.
What happens if you just change a random numerical value in your vanilla file and put it back in?

@XYZ_Gaming Hmm maybe try it again except don't delete any of the takedown moves this time. Another thing, I actually used Notepad++ to edit the file instead of regular notepad, so use that instead.

@XYZ_Gaming Yeah that can happen when replacing .meta files. What I would try is first rebuilding update.rpf in openiv. If that doesn't work, what's probably causing the crash is how I edited the meta file (for some reason GTA5 hates it when entire blocks of text are replaced in a file).

If you've got the time, you can probably get this mod working by getting a vanilla results.meta file and adding my changes into it manually. The names of the blocks of text I've changed are:
    AR_walking, AR_running, AR_walking_no_target, AR_running_no_target, AR_hitby_walking, AR_hitby_running, AR_hitby_any_no_anim
So you'll need to copy the values of these blocks one by one (don't use copy and paste!) from my file to the vanilla file. Then delete all the blocks with AR_takedown_front, AR_takedown_rear, AR_hitby_takedown_front, AR_hitby_takedown_rear in their names. Then add your edited file to update.rpf.

If that doesn't work, I think maybe I'll redo this mod from scratch so it's more stable.

@syntheticworld I tried to overwrite as few fighting moves as possible, so that you will only push while not targeting somebody and will always punch when targeting (much like in gta4). I might make a version where you can retain your ability to pimpslap/headbutt people when up close.

@TheAdmiester Yes, just press B or RT while not locked on to push.
