@jrem7315 thanks for sharing that preview with me. That Pacifica looks so refined and I can't wait to see the release of the updated model :)
Ouch I've recently experienced that feeling too where it felt like everything that could go wrong went wrong. On the bright side, I've learned everything will eventually work itself out (and life is starting to work out in my favor again) Take your time, keep up the great work, and welcome back to the modding community :)
cannot wait for that trailer to be released
@jrem7315 Wow there's a preview video? I'm going to have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up :)
TBH, I've been somewhat busy too for the past few months logging on here occasionally to view/download any cool mod that catches my eye/help out any mod authors who need advice. I'm a university student so, I've been putting most of my effort to focus on my studies.
@jrem7315 Yeah I was thinking around those years. There was one for GTA IV but, I know for a fact its locked and the mod author is long gone. Anyways, I can't wait for that update for the Pacifica. Keep up the great work :)
@jay ricardo I know how to fix your glitch of the bullbar falling off easily. I learned about this flag awhile back when I was tired in my game of the backup AI cops during LSPDFR pursuits having their bullbars fall off after a single hit and all littered over the road during all pursuits. This line will ensure that the vehicles extras will not fall off after a collision. Anyways, In the ]vehicles.meta [same one you provided for this file] under the cavalcade2 lines scroll down to <flags> and add the line FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG to the beginning of the meta line. Anyways, Here's the new line you can just replace for the next update in the cavalcade2 section.
<flags>FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG FLAG_RICH_CAR FLAG_AVERAGE_CAR FLAG_IS_OFFROAD_VEHICLE FLAG_IS_BULKY FLAG_HAS_INTERIOR_EXTRAS</flags>
So far, great job and keep up the great work!
@jrem7315 Beautiful model. Btw do you have any plans of doing a older Dodge Caravan?
glad you could get the trailer hitch working. Keep up the great work!
I'm not sure if certain slots could be barred from carrying trailers. to be honest I only had a situation like yours once where I installed a mod vehicle with a supported trailer hitch and, I could back up, and the camera zooms but still was unable to attach any trailers. As it turns out, I installed the lines in the vehicles.meta under the wrong slot . Since there are 2 cavalcade models (cavalcade and cavalcade2) Could you please check to see if you placed the lines in the cavalcade2 slot in the main vehicles.meta under ([mods]\update\ipdate.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5)
@jay ricardo not that many GTA V vehicles (whether vanilla or mods) have the Attach_female function modeled in.
In order for you to be able to tow a trailer, it needs to be enabled under its respectable vehicles.meta lines and have a attach_female moddeled in. To check if a car supports the ability to hook up to a trailer, you can check by opening up the vehicles yft file in OpenIV then clicking the expand button under chassis. Then scroll down and see if you see a attach_female listed. [For example, the Bison has it thus it can tow trailers and, the cavalcade2 does not have it so it cannot]
But yeah, the cavalcade2 (just like many other cars) does not have the ability to hook up a trailer to it.
This model is beautiful. I always enjoy your work. Your models aways are the best quality! Keep up the great work :)
