At first, this didn't work. Opened the file in texture editor and removed all the generic textures and left the Rarity skin, and it still didn't work. Digging deeper, I found that after removing the generic texture, I copied the contents of the edited file, and renamed the copy of the file to match the high quality file (the _hi.ytf file), and that worked for whatever reason. Had a lot of fun. But I personally would've gone with Rainbow Dash, as she is the fastest pony.
