@taomuonanga The path file is how the game knows what speed limits to use on each road. Without it, the speeds will have a default of 30mph or speed setting 1. But with it, when joining highways the ai will detect this and automatically speed up to 60mph
@blueholio I have been away from the game for a bit, since the newly released enhanced edition actually. I had just 100% beat the entire game's singleplayer shortly before and I felt like I had nothing left to do with it. The paths file is part of the games content and I just had it moved into the folder for the mod so it could read it directly from there. As far as a global base speed setting, there is only 4 speeds that the game's ai recognize. Speed 0 is 20 mph, speed 1 is 30 mph, speed 2 is 40 mph, and speed 3 is 60mph. Completely based on what roads you are on. This can contradict speed limit signs in the game but I assure you this is how the ai drivers know what speeds to drive

I have not tested it in the enhanced edition yet, I was waiting for scripthook to be updated so that everything works properly. I'm guessing it crashes due to the asi program not communcating with the game correctly
@StoicBliss That feature is already implemented, however for whatever reason the game doesn't always use them for all turns. I believe it might have something to do with the frame limiting the game requires. An example would be how sometimes the railroad crossing guards sometimes never reset after a train has passed. Just a game engine bug mainly.
