A mod which adds universally compatible "break- away" missiles for planes
Description
With the vanilla game, wing- mounted missiles on aircraft are permanently fixed and do not break away when the weapons are fired. With this script, the missiles physically break away from the wing, making for a more realistic effect.
Full credit for the original idea goes to user @FoxtrotDelta. It was he that inspired me to make this mod.
Requirements
ScriptHookV - http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
ScriptHookVDotNet - https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases/
Installation
Other Info
Please note: While the script is designed to work universally with all vehicles, it really becomes up to the people working on the models to configure things the right way. More details as to what the "right way" is can be found in the readme file (it is essentially the same as with the vanilla lazer).
Usage
No extra configuration is required after installing. Just use a vehicle that is known to be compatible with the script. Some other options may be configured in the ini file, such as whether to use a key to reload the missiles or whether to play a sound when reloading.
Changes
v1.01
v1.04
v1.05

It didn't work to any plane
This isn't working for me sorry - every other asi/ .net/ lua script is working fine so I dunno. Maybe it's something to do with the Smuggler's Run update (which added a lot of new aircraft and detaching weapon systems like missiles and bombs). Fingers crossed there's a possible solution in the future. @CamxxCore
good idea but why does the script spawn the missile behind the plane?
Yee boyy, gonna bomb some orphanages with this shit.
Thankyou for the update.
Cool effect. Didn't even notice that the missiles didn't fire off the model in the vanilla version of the game.
Nice O_o !!!! xD
@CamxxCore it needs a badly needed update please
didnt work with lastest schv.net
Not working, everything installed correctly and all necessary files are up to date, running on the latest patch in October 2019... This mod USED to work for me back then.
@FrostyGaming Rock* updates..we love and hate them! Mostly hate, as far as coming here for mods goes. Tons of mods i want, i never bother with bc of huge amounts of comments stating "Rockstar update broke it". Tons of mods i used to have and love..now in the digital dustbin of history.
This is a cool idea. Anyone have any idea what native GTA mod file controls missile/rocket speed? Would like to use supersonic in conjunction with this.
Seems to be broken, cool idea though!
Hoping for an update!
@CamxxCore
please update this mod, thank you!
Awesome mod man!
For me only the B-11 Strikeforce works
@shifuguru Because once you fire it the plane has moved from where it launched the missile
does it work with SkylineGTRFreak mods?
someone update this pleasee
