IMPORTANT: You need a mod such as sjaak327's Simple Trainer that lets you spawn MP vehicles in singleplayer.
Word on the street is The Lost MC is much more scary after one of the club members figured out they can use RC cars to blow up rivals. But since they aren't too bright, a van full of armed RC cars is parked next to their clubhouse, ready to be taken.
This mod creates a gang burrito (marked with a blip named "RC Vehicle Van") in The Lost MC clubhouse that allows you to use RC cars full of explosives.
Installing
Put the contents of the archive you downloaded to your GTA V folder/scripts/.
Controls
Hold the interaction key while being inside the RC vehicle van (aka the gang burrito) and you'll get a menu that lets you choose a model. (INPUT_CONTEXT - E by default)
Press the detonation key while using a RC car to detonate it. (INPUT_DETONATE - G by default)
These controls can be changed from scripts/rcbomb_config.ini, just replace the control IDs with the ones you want. (Click here for a list of game controls)
rcbomb_config.ini
Here are the settings for this mod:
SHOWCONTROLS: Toggles help texts, setting it to true means the script will always tell you what to do. (Press to detonate etc.) Setting it to false will disable those messages. (Default: true)
MAXDISTANCE: Maximum distance you can drive away from the van while using an armed RC car. (Default: 200)
(Version 1.1 and above) FPSCAMERA: Force first person camera while driving a RC car. True to enable, False to disable. (Default: false)
SPAWNCONTROL and DETONATECONTROL: Explained above.
Things to Know
- This script was tested on game version 1604.0 with sjaak327's Simpe Trainer installed
Requirements
- Any mod that allows you to spawn MP vehicles in singleplayer (Recommended: Simple Trainer)
- Script Hook V
- Script Hook V .NET (and its requirements)
- NativeUI
Changelog
1.1.2
- Fixed a null reference exception.
1.1.1
- Changed timecycle modifier strength calculation to actually care about maximum distance setting.
1.1
- Added FPSCAMERA setting to CONFIG section of the rcbomb_config.ini file. Setting it to True will force you to use the first person camera while driving a RC car. Make sure your config file looks like this image.
Source code is available on GitHub.

@rootcause Very nice. I hope that the Drone can be done in the future.
@rootcause The car is eaten on the map only when you press the Insert key. Make the script work by default without the Insert key. Another script is incompatible with https://ru.gta5-mods.com/misc/world-of-variety. Can I fix this?
Hey, everything in this mod is workingly perfectly, apart from one thing. When I press G the RC car doesn't explode, the camera simply fades out, and I get put back into the Gang Burrito. The RC Car model is still sitting where I pressed G
Okay so call me stupid, but I've pressed every button on my keyboard and I can't find the interaction button lmao Can someone help me
This mod is immense fun!
@rootcause Thanks for the time and energy spent on this mod. Having a lot of fun with it. Too bad when I went save the burrito in my garage, it lost the rc bomb function. That's not a complaint either, and it's probably best for the residents of LS to have it that way. 😈
@rootcause Hey I'm not sure if I'm having some kind of mod conflict or not, but every time I use the bombs, the van itself gets caught on fire as well, pretty much killing me if I step out of the van after detonation. I'm assuming that it's something interfering with the model switching.
After some experimentation, I'm gonna assume it's to do with configs that mess with the fx settings. Naturally, the RC car mirrors the actions of the player in a vehicle, so also stands to reason that the fire spreading effects would be reciprocated before it switches models.
@rootcause Hello there! I modified your mod, changed it to RC Mavic, would you agree to re-upload it?
No offense, just for more fun games.
great mod. Is there a way to re-spawn the gang van if it was destroyed?
This is BY FAR the best mod I've used to date. Brings back fun memories from GTA 1. Amazing!!
@rootcause Im using the Bandito from this mod to collect the Action FIgures from your other mod. xD
@rootcause why would the RC keep getting blown up if you take the van and park it and drive the RC away like 100 Ft or so ?
Example> Take the Van and park it in a lot near a store and Drive it in there and it blows up if youre away that much ?
@Minimum_Capacity This happens to me too, but the van never blew up
when i download this file i only get the .dll file and when i spawn in, it doesn't appear
@rootcause Yo man ! mod sounds great, but I don't see the ini in the archive ?
Any ideas ?
Cool
Man what a cool concept you made,
Best if this could be portable and be used at will in missions, (for example ambush attack)
if the mod is not working, install the 1.8 or 1.7 NativeUI instead of the latest 1.91 NativeUL
This reminds me of that Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry Dead Pool with the remote control car bomb scene. Love it
