Once installed with their instructions, open the dlc.rpf with OpenIV. BTW, the Vietnam, Syria and Egypt liveries are there to serve as an analog for MiG 17's, as there isn't a MiG 17 currently in GTA5-Mods.
Follow this path to the file to overwrite:
...\Program Files\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mig15\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\
If you wish to retain the original livery, while in OpenIV, extract the files mig15.ytd. I typically extract the original .ytd to the same folder as the dlc.rpf and rename it to origmig15.ytd.
When ready to overwrite with the mig15 livery, toggle "Edit mode", top right button, and drag mig15.ytd and mig151.ytd from the extracted zip file and drop here:
...GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mig15\dlc.rpf\x64\vehicles\mig_vehicles.rpf\mig15.ytd
Just to confirm the livery, I'd click on the mig15.yft file to open the OpenIV Model Viewer to see what the model will look like with the new livery.
Once satisfied, close the model viewer and run GTAV and spawn mig15 with the trainer of your choice.
Enjoy,
Gillman

The Vietnam, Syria and Egypt liveries are my attempts at a MiG 17 analog for something I'm playing with.
@Gillman To be honest, actual convert of Mig-15 for V has proportions closer to Mig-17. It's bigger if we compare gta v one and one in warthunder
