NOTE: I am currently creating on a rig that can barely run V, so anyone willing to add videos or screenshots are welcomed
FEATURES:
1. Peds are very good at avoiding crashes, and regaining control when losing control
2. All Traffic Lights are now longer, allowing more traffic to build up.
3. Different vehicles travel at different rates of speed on Highways
4. Peds will change lanes and park more frequently
5. Peds can properly use right turns at red lights, and may also choose which lane is best based upon cars ahead.
6. All peds are now more skilled at driving as they have increased skill levels
7. Peds can turn and keep control at higher speeds than before
8. You can lose a tiny bit of health crashing your car lightly, so be careful
9. Bike riders will pull between cars, or beside them to get through if there's enough room
10. Peds will avoid other peds and cars instead of fully stopping, and then backing up
11. Some drivers are more aggressive than others.
Installation: This is an OIV package, to install, simply follow these easy steps.
1. Open the program OpenIV
2. Choose "tools" and then "Package Installer"
3. Select the .oiv located in the mod
4. Install
5. Enjoy

ok.
Mine says file error lol
it is the best, you just have to know how to install it manually, since Rockstar came up with the great idea of changing the locations of the established files, I will do a tutorial on it, it is very simple just by seeing the .oiv file in RAR
This mod still works and actually *sighs* it works better than https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/ai-traffic-fluidity-discipline-4-0-2 if you have https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/realistic-driving-v installed i recommend deleting the "vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta" that comes with it as it is terrible and if you use this one you have to play around with the "MaxSpeedBrakeDistance" in order to stop the "bumper cars" from happening. Still works on 2699.16
@zBlackPantherr Thank you for the tip
I found the 'losing a bit of health' annoying. Can you tell which file to delete?
@beurk what???????
Hey does this mod make traffic press on the gas smoothly, cause its really hard to chill in traffic on steering wheel when you can see the ai was recorded on a keyboard because they keep braking and accelerating instantly
@zBlackPantherr what is the MaxSpeedBrakeDistance value to stop bumping to another car?
To prevent the AI drivers in GTA 5 from bumping into other cars, you can make adjustments to the MaxSpeedBrakeDistance value in the vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta file. Follow these steps:
1. Locate the vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta file in the game's installation directory. It is usually found in the "update/update.rpf/common/data/ai" folder.
2. Open the file using a text editor that can handle XML files (e.g., Notepad++).
3. Search for the MaxSpeedBrakeDistance value in the file. It may be represented as <MaxSpeedAtBrakeDistance value="X.XXXXXX" />.
4. Adjust the value to a higher number to allow the AI drivers more time to brake before colliding with other vehicles. For example, you can set it to <MaxSpeedAtBrakeDistance value="100.000000" />.
5. Save the changes and close the file.
6. Start the game and test the AI drivers' behavior. They should now maintain a greater distance from other vehicles before braking.
Please note that modifying game files may affect the game's performance and stability. It's a good practice to make a backup of the original file before making any changes.
@zBlackPantherr great tip thank you, that realistic driving mod is great but the ai behavior can be bad and frusttrating, what are you go to settings ?
@jagc95 still works?
"You can lose a tiny bit of health crashing your car lightly, so be careful"
This does not fit the mod, and will prevent me from trying it as I do not want this setting changed.
Why was it added?
It's like adding chicken to an apple pie.
Which file controls whether you take damage when crashing or not?
Nvm, It's vehicletasks.ymt. Edit it and change the values from
<ShuntDamageMultiplierPlayer value="1.25000000"/> and <MinDamageTakenToApplyDamagePlayer value="2.00000000"/> to <ShuntDamageMultiplierPlayer value="0"/> and <MinDamageTakenToApplyDamagePlayer value="0"/>
how do you uninstall this mod? its affecting one of my other mods, Smooth Driving V.. would prefer to not have to do a clean install... this is why i stay away from OIV mods lol, shame on me.
@rubbbberduck go into update.rpf>data>ai and remove vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta
@StoicBliss made it worse for me
For people who changed the value to "100" and maybe didnt work for them, you have to do the opposite. Lower the value. Im using Drive V mod
does it work right now?
