@ProMotivated You are a blessing. Finally I can set my menu keys to something besides function keys or number keys. They're starting to overlap.

@SamuelOlson1701 Lol yea that was my issue.. it aint enough keys , so i had to free us all up so when can use our keyboard like we want to.. Glad to help

Can you make a configurable version or a mod that lets save keybindings and leave settings with some of keys not assigned, please?

What's the point if you can't bind the keys in-game afterward?... Why-- No HOW is there not a script to allow people to straight up manually unbind keys by now? Like I just want to unbind my 1-0 keys so I can bind modded functions to them.

For those interested in SOLELY unbinding '1 - 9' above 'WASD', do as follows:

Inside OpenIV, enable "Edit mode", then head to:

< Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data\control >

Locate default.meta, right click, select and click "Edit."

Press 'CTRL + F'

Paste the text in the window located at this link into the OpenIV text editor's search bar:

Now, select all that is Highlighted and press the 'Delete' key.

Click save, and you are now free to use those keys for modded keybindings.

After doing this, GTA 5 will not allow you to edit your vanilla keybinds until '1 - 9' are once again bound.

@Goobert Froobert It's funny because a dev comment in the file says 'i dont think we need a map input since the pause screen starts off on the map anyway', R* were fucking wild with these keybinds.
