This mod overhauls the Los Santos Smog to resemble the Real Life January 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires.
Inspiration taken from real photos & videos of the event.
AS OF THE 1.0 VERSION, THIS ONLY AFFECTS THE LOS SANTOS AREA. ANYWHERE OUTSIDE LOS SANTOS WILL NOT HAVE THE WILDFIRE EFFECTS, THIS WILL BE UPDATED.
Installation:
mods > update > update.rpf > common > data > timecycle

-Heavy fog to simulate wildfire smoke
-Darker Nights
-Sun being blocked out by smoke simulated

@JacksonDarian im pretty sure there are no wildfires in game with this mod, this is just a visual look of smog
@jazzysoggy12 Tried to create a sort of distant wildfire thing myself, but it absolutely screwed the performance (also looked odd), so I just kept the timecycle
@itsyaboi0008 if you don't mind, send me a picture or video cause it sounds interesting (not that i want it in game)
Awesome concept, looks cool during the day but the fog is hard to see at night. It would be really cool if you could add some form of sparks or maybe an orange glow in the sky so it feels like there is actual fire surrounding you.
